Is it safe to register online?
Online payment via credit card is secure, fast, easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately. We are using a certificate: 128-bit SSL encryption. Your information is safely housed on secure servers maintained by The Paypal Pro merchant services division, one of the leading worldwide providers of online payment transactions. In addition, your reservation is processed through RezClick, a Florida-based company that manages reservation systems for more than 300 schools across the country. Top
Do you ever share my information with third parties?
Never!!! We only use your email address to send you reminders, promotions and news about My Creative Canvas. Top
Why do I have to pay when I reserve my seat? Top
The process of registering for a My Creative Canvas class is like buying theater or sporting event tickets online: you decide when you want to go, select the date and pay for the tickets online at that time. And, unlike other online ticket purchases, with a My Creative Canvas registration you have up to the day before your class to change or cancel your reservation with no penalty.
Why do I have to create an account?
Your account allows us to keep track of your reservations so we know when you're coming. It also helps us keep you informed with reminders about your reservation, special promotions, and new calendar postings. Top
What if someone I know wants to sign up but doesn't have access to the internet?
You are welcome to register online for yourself and anyone else, or we do accept on-site cash/check payments for unreserved seats 30 minutes before each class, on a first-come-first-serve basis. On days we are holding a 6:30 class, you may also come to our location to register and pay for any class, not just the one we are about to start. The only time we cannot assist a registration is during private parties. Top
Can I register by phone?
You are welcome to check for availability by calling (321)242-7007, but reservations may only be made online or by visiting our location. You also may come in 30 minutes before any class to take an available seat. The number of available seats for any class is always updated in real-time as participants register for it. Top
What forms of payment do you accept?
Our online system allows us to accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal. You may also show up 30 minutes prior to class and pay with check or cash. However, to reserve a seat ahead of time you must register through the computer. Top
How do I sign up for a class?
Go to our calendar page and click on the image of the painting you would like to paint, on the date and at the time you want to paint it. You will be taken to an on line shopping cart where you will complete your reservation. (If it's your first time to our site, you will need to set up an account with a password like on other Web sites.) Note that the calendar will show how many seats are available for that event...if there are no seats available, there will be an option to sign up for the Waiting List for that event, and you will be notified by email if seats become available so you can come back and sign up for it. The number of seats available for an event is always fluctuating as people sign up, and the calendar is updated in real-time. (If you register for a Waiting List, your credit card is not charged...that only happens if you come back and sign up after we've notified you of availability.) Top
I have reserved a seat but am unable to attend. What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel the day of the class or simply fail to show, you will be charged for the class because we will be unable to fill your spot at the last minute. As long as you cancel prior to twenty-four hours before the scheduled class time, you will be provided a full refund. Top

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Gift Certificates are a wonderful and unique gift for any occasion. You may purchase them online and print them out. You will receive a unique code your recipient will use when making a reservation. You can buy them for a single class ($35) or any other dollar amount. They never expire. Top
Can I bring wine?
You can bring wine or any other beverage or food you would like. We want you to have a fun and relaxing evening. While we do not provide any food or beverages, we do have a fridge and you are more than welcome to use it. We will also provide the cups and corkscrew! Top
When are classes held?
We have evening classes from 6:30-9:00 several days of the week. Evening classes are geared toward adults. Children are welcome at all daytime classes. We offer a 1:00-3:30 daytime class on Saturdays. Check our calendar for all upcoming classes. Top
Why are there age requirements?
Just as classroom activities and teaching styles are tailored to be age-appropriate, our evening classes are designed to be fun projects for individuals ages 18 and up, and the after-hours atmosphere and conversations of our evening classes are most appropriate for participants at least of that age. Teens with a mature attitude are not expressly discouraged from attending, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Of course, you must be at least 21 years of age to bring and consume alcoholic beverages. Top
Do I need any painting skills or experience? Is this going to be a serious art class? Because I can barely draw a stickman!
Don't worry! I felt the same way too. But, the lead artist will take you step by step through the painting. If you know your colors, shapes and can write then you can certainly handle the basics of painting! We will provide whatever advice you may need, so that you can improve and build confidence in a short period of time. Just remember a relaxed attitude can go a long way and don't forget to give yourself permission to experiment. Top
As far as a serious class, well, there is going to be wine involved, so 'serious' is not the word to describe this art class! Most people have some creativity; it just may be buried deep inside. We have selected paintings that are basic enough for beginners, so don't worry, we won't start out with the hard stuff. You will learn a little along the way, have a lot of fun and don't have to worry about a test at the end of the night. Top
I used to paint a lot. Is this class only for beginners?
While these paintings are designed for a beginner in mind, even experienced arts will enjoy our class. We will provide easy access to art supplies and you are more than welcome to let your creativity take hold and paint what you are feeling. Don't feel you have to follow the instructor step-by-step; you can let your imagination run wild. Top
What should I wear?
Wear anything comfortable. While we recommend paint-friendly clothing, we do provide smocks/aprons, so don't worry if you have to come straight from work! Top
Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
We always paint with drying time in mind, but you can use one of our hair dryers to take care of any remaining damp areas at the end of class. Top
What size canvas do you use?
We use either 16x20" or 11x14" stretched canvases for our evening classes, based on what we feel is most appropriate for each subject. We paint our edges, so you don't have to buy a frame unless that is your preference. For our children's classes we will use canvas board in a standard size. Canvas boards are more forgiving than stretched canvas and the painting will easily fit into any picture frame. Top
When do you post a new monthly calendar?
New paintings and event schedules are posted by the last week of the preceding month. For this reason, we request all private parties be booked at least one month before they are to occur. Top
Can I forward your web site to friends who might be interested in a class like this one?
Yes! Please spread the word of the class to anyone you think would be interested. The more friends you have in a class, the more fun it is! Top
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
You can arrive 30 minutes prior to class start time and that will give you time to settle in, get a beverage, and start to chat --I mean paint. If you have already registered, you may show up just 15 minutes prior to class and still be ready to start on time. Top
I missed a painting that I really want to paint! How often will you repeat paintings?
We are still feeling out the interest for each painting, so it is hard to say when classes will be repeated. If you miss a class that you wanted to take, please let us know and we will try and schedule it again. Also, you if you have a group of friends that would like to take a class, consider a group session. You can pick your own theme for private events. Top
What do I need to bring to the class?
You are not required to bring anything, except an open-mind and creative spirit! In addition, you can bring food or beverage. We will provide all of the art supplies you will need. Top
Children
What are the age requirements for kid classes?
We recommend an age range of 5 to 12 years old; however, all ages are welcome. Our instructors are very patient and will offer individual help as needed along the way. You may also attend the class with your child to offer support and encouragement. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult (except for private parties, see below). Older kids are welcome too and can add more detail to their paintings. Top
What about children's parties?
Each birthday is scheduled for a maximum of four hours, which includes 90 min. of set up time (if needed) and 30 min. post party for clean up. A minimum of two responsible adults is required to be present, or more according to the following formula: for age 5/ one for every 5 children; for age 10, one for every 10 children, etc...
All art supplies are provided. The standard cost of $20/child applies, with a 10 child (or $200 minimum), and we have 48 seats available. Parents and adults may participate and are part of the seat count. There is no charge for adults who do not paint.
The minimum cost is due when the reservation is made, and the final head count and balance (if applicable) are due one week prior to the party. Top
